The Gallery, in a former farmhouse constructed of California redwood in 1908, currently carries an eclectic collection of works by over a hundred artists, including many from the Big Island and a large number from Volcano, which has developed an international reputation as an “artists’ community.” Works on display include everything from paintings and sculptures to blown glass and jewelry, with prices for every budget, from the casual tourist’s to the wealthy international collector’s. Dozens of sculptures, many for sale, have been carefully placed into the landscape.
